How to cook Karengo

You have to wash the karengo before you cook them. You put the karengo in a dish and then put it in the oven for two hours to cook. You check it before you stir the karengo. You add water so the karengo doesn’t get dried out. When the karengo is tender it is ready. Add a little bit of hot water.
  • Put a little bit of butter.

Prayer Time

It was a nice and cool day, everyone was so happy to come back to school.
Room three were sitting in a nice circle getting ready for prayer time. Everyone was being quiet and waiting for Rachel and Monique to start our prayer.

We got the cross, the purple cloth, the candles and the statue. The candles were lit and all room three know God is here with us once the candles are lit. The two girls are ready to start the pray. We all pray together and after that the two girls tell us to say the Our Father and we do.

Monique blows the candles and then the girls say “in the name of the father, the son and the holy spirit Amen”. After prayer time Rachel and Monique pack up the cross, the purple cloth, the candles and the statue and all room three get ready to learn and are all happy.

Reflection of last 3 weeks

In the last three week we had a hard  time learning  about the netbook. We were learning how to comment on some other peoples blogs from other school, it was good to learn above how to comment on other peoples work from the blog. Some mornings we go on the class site and look at what we a going to do that day. Miss .G sometimes has to help us to get to our own blogs. On Friday all the classes went to mass and it took a little bit long, so after mass we want for morning tea.

Charism

In Week 2 in room three we looked at the school charism.
We looked at what our school emblem represents and we were learning about the holy faith sisters. The holy faith sisters were a good group of women to learn about. A group of the holy faith sisters started our our school in 1958.

Netbook Rollout

On Thursday morning all room three were so happy because it our first time to use our own net book. Miss. G told three boys to go and help her to get the boxes that had all the net book’s so those three boy’s did. I couldn’t stop being happy with my friend because we were so so happy to look at our net book.

Miss G said to table one to come and get a net book so they did and then table two to get their net books, then table three. I was one of the table three people and I was so happy to get my net book. After that Miss. G said “does everyone have a net book” and we all said “yes” so she said “OK”. Miss G said to us to get our net book out off the box and then she said for us to open our net book and look at the shinning plastic thing at the top of the net book and pull it out and we did. We had to make up our own password and then log in. Miss G said to us to have a little play and we did for the first time.

It was fun for me because it was my first time to use the net book. The net book was for us to write on but not for playing games and not for doing what we want on the net book. It is our learning tool.

peculiar person

I’m a most peculiar person,
As almost everyone knows.
I’ve a crown on the top of my head,
And nails grow out of my toes.

I’ve eardrums that help me hear.
And eyeballs that help me see,
And there’s even a mole on the tip of my nose,
Yes, there’s nobody quite like me.

I’ve got ‘mussels’ that grow in my arms and my legs,
And shoulder blades on my back.
I’ve a rib-cage to hold my heart in -
There’s really not much that I lack.

There’s a button that does up my tummy,
And my funny-bone keeps me amused.
When I look at myself in the mirror,
It’s no wonder I feel confused.

I’m a most unusual person,
And even my doctor agrees,
For that’s what he said when he came to examine
The caps that I have on my knees.

And I sometimes get pins and needles,
When it’s raining cats and dogs,
But what else could you really expect,
From a person whole throat’s full of frogs!

About Me

In my family I have four brother's and one girl. I like to play soccer with my bother's because we always have fun. I like to write because sometimes I learn from it and that is how I know how to write. In the holiday I helped my mum to clean up the house because she needed my help.
