Pigeon Impossible

Pigeon ImpossiblePlot:
There was a man who was a secret agent named Walter. He was given a suitcase to give to his boss. Once he got the suitcase he had a look inside, but he did not know that there was a bird that wanted his donut. Walter looked at the bird and gave him a little bit of his donut but the bird wanted all the donut. The bird flew into Walter’s face and Walter was trying to get him off. The bird was trying to go and get the donut but he fell into the suitcase and closed himself inside. He was playing with the buttons inside the suitcase. The bird was making the suitcase chase people even up to Walter but Walter hid and the bird did not see Walter.

Problem:
The bird wanted the donut and Walter chucked the donut into the air and the donut came back from the air and went onto a red button inside the suitcase. That button was for the bomb but it was too late to stop the bomb.

Solution:
Walter was flying with the suitcase in the air to try to stop the bomb, but the dounut was still inside the suitcase. Then the bird came flying into the front of the suitcase and he was waiting to give him the dounut. Walter open the suitcase and the dounut came out and the bird followed the dounut. After that Walter shot the bomb and he came down next to the bird.

Your opinion of the story:
I like it because Walter was been kind and gave his dounut to the bird.

Imagination Story

“I need help here” Dad yelled, Mum called me to go and help. Once I got outside it was cold with a little bit of sun.
Dad told me that he needed a hole to plant his big tree so I knew when I dug the hole I would get warmer. I began to daydream because I had no one to dig with and the hole got deeper and deeper. I did not even think to stop digging. I looked back up to see that I was way too far from home. I yelled as loud as I could ”Can someone help me down here?“ but no one could hear me so I kept on digging sadly down by myself.

Suddenly I fell, I could not even see anything. I opened my eyes and said to myself “Where am I?” I looked around and felt something under my feet, I looked to the ground where my feet were, and the ground was squishy.

I was so lonely and there was no one with me. I talked to myself and ended up crying because I thought I was lost.

Suddenly a man came to me and said “who are you?” I told him my name and he said “my name is Jim-Jim”. I said “do you know where I am?”. He said “you are in Banana world”. “Banana world hahahaha“ I yelled, but it did not seem funny to Jim-Jim.

Jim-Jim was little and he had big feet, three eyes, one leg and two arms joined together and one head. Jim-Jim took me to this big house where trees grew really large. I looked around and there was candy and banana on the trees. I said to Jim-Jim “what do you call this kind of tree?” he said “In our language we call it candy cane banana trees”, “ooooooo” I said to myself.

At last he said to me “it time for you to go back home”. I sadly said “yes” before I went home Jim-Jim gave me a present to remember him. I looked to the present that Jim-Jim gave me, it was a little smooshy dog with a huge banana next to him. I said “thank you Jim-Jim” then I ran to go back home. I yelled “ goodbye Jim-Jim” and he said goodbye back to me.

When I got home I was next to the hole that I dug in my backyard. Then I went to my room and hid my present under my bed. I really enjoyed my day in Banana world and I hope that I could go there again.

Glitter art

This is kowhaiwhai art that I have made by myself together with our class. Reuben Paterson inspired room three with his kowhaiwhai art. I enjoyed glittering my art because the glitter makes your art look nice and people can enjoy looking at your art too. I found it difficult when we had to glitter our art because we could only pick one part of our kowhaiwhai art to glitter.

Orienteering Week 1

On a sunny day room three, six and seven were ready for orienteering and we were happy too. We had some people that came to our school and they are Mr McGivern and his friend Miss Irene.

Mr Mcgivern explained to us how to play orienteering and he said “some kids like us got lost in the forest because they were playing orienteering and were following their map”. So we needed to listen so we wouldn’t get lost.

We went outside into the field and we had to get in two teams. One team went with Mr McGivern and the other term went with Miss Irene. We had to run around the circle and find clues to write on our paper.

As the bell rang everyone was so hungry and tired and wished not to do it again but really they did want to do it again. Everyone went to class and got their lunch to go and eat and while we went Mr McGivern and Miss Irene went and had their lunch, but first they had to pack up the stuff so the next class could come.

Howick Historical Village

My favourite thing from our trip to Howick Historical Village was when we came to this big house and Mrs Dodd was there. She said to us “good afternoon room three my name is Mrs Dodd”, we said “good afternoon” back to her.

We went inside and we played a game so we got into two teams. After that we played the game and it was called the string game. We had to challenge each team, we were all jumping up and down because we wanted to win the game but the Lakers won. It was a nice game and a fun game too.

After that we played another game and that game was called ball & neck game. We had to stay in the same teams, but some girls did not like the game because the other person had to get the ball off with their neck and we were too shy. I was kind of shy because I was next to a boy but my friend Kilisitina was next to him so I was not shy anymore. I had a lot of fun jumping up and down with my friends.

Mrs Dodd said to us “we can have one more game” and that game was called squeak piggy squeak. The game was kind of the same as the blindfold game. We had to wear a blindfold and walk with Mrs Dodd and sit down in front of someone, and that person had to say “squeak piggy squeak” then we had to try to guess the person who said squeak piggy squeak. When it came to my turn I was so nervous because I did not want to go to a boy but I just thought that I am going to a girl and it was a girl and her name was Tokilupe.

We sadly had to go back to have lunch, but before we went to lunch we went and take a look around the house. We went to lunch and we all ate and played with our friends. I enjoyed myself at the Parlour Games, I hope to play those games again.
