My Reflection

What I've learn is that you can't get to the father without Jesus. Living the life of kindness you will know the way to the father's house. Jesus said that the father has loads of rooms. What Jesus meant is that everyone is accepted to the father's house if you live the life of kindness. Thank you Jesus for  always reminding me that you are the way, the truth and the life. 

Assembly picture

On Friday room seven had an assembly. Our assembly was about kindness. Kindness is a huge virtue for St Pius. We as room seven thought that kindness should be our virtue because everyone needs to show kindness to each other.

Room seven prepared a skit, poem and a song to show kindness. We also made a kindness mat which we write all the things that we can do to show kindness.  

My group made a song about kindness. The whole purpose of the song is to always respect one another no matter what. Also to love, care and to help each other.

My Term Two Writing Goal

I have three main goal for writing one of them is to use specific and interesting vocabulary and to use structure of explanation correctly. The last one is to use capital letters and full stops consistently. I've only achieved one goal and it is to use capital letters. My goal now is to try and achieved my other two writing goals by the end of the term.

  

Basic Facts Test

This is my Basic Facts test and I think Subtract to 20 and my addition to 20 is the one I did well. My next step is to work on my 1000 my multiplication and division to 2,3,5 and 10.

My soul friend

My Soul Friend

My soul friend is Moana and she is eight year’s old. Moana is a beautiful young Maori girl. She like’s playing soccer with her next door and also her sister. Moana’s favorite subject is writing because she like’s retelling everything.

My Holiday Writing

Waking up on the 26th of December, finds that mum already gone work, dad still sleeping and my uncle and his family start packing their stuff to go back to Gisborne.

Then my uncle asked me if I want to go with them, so I went and asked my dad. I was so surprised when he said “yes”. I was over the moon jumping up and down ran quickly packed my stuff and off we went after saying goodbye. What an amazing ride, it takes 8 hours to reach Gisborne. I watch many places like Tauranga, Hamilton (etc) when our car goes pasted it. 

When we reached there my feelings changed, I felt very sick. I miss my mum very much cause I got no chance to say goodbye and sometimes I cry missing my parents so much. After a week we went shopping,swimming(etc) we also got to see different places. Then I started to like it there, one more week before coming back home. I felt like I don’t want to come back home. I really enjoyed my trip up to the last week then we came back.
It was so hard to say goodbye to my uncle and his family, but in the other I was very happy to see my family's. That was one month of me being away from home also telling my brother's how happy I was.
